225mm "Yeil" Apex Ultra gyuto, stainless and nickel cladding

In the traditions of the Tlingit people, Yeil (Raven) is a powerful trickster and creator who helped shape the world. In the beginning, the world was dark because the sun, moon, and stars were hidden away by a powerful chief. Yeil transformed himself and was born as the chief’s grandchild so he could gain access to the boxes that held the light. One by one, he opened them, releasing the stars, the moon, and finally the sun into the sky. By bringing light into the world, Raven made it possible for people to live and thrive. 

The dark and shining bright layers of the "Yeil" gyuto resembles the the light and darkness in the origin story shared by the people of the pacific northwest, including the tlingit. 

This blade is a Lazer, 2mm at the spine at its thickest point. Also including a very tall heel, this blade is designed to be a food razor.
